Can you take a vacation when you are fully retired? Well, I looked up the definition:

“An extended period of leisure and recreation, especially one spent away from home or in traveling. They took a vacation in Hawaii.“

QC and I are, by definition, on “vacation” as we traveled away from home for some rest, relaxation and recreation as opposed to being at home, resting, relaxing and recreating.

This morning QC reserved a poolside cabana and I am playing golf at a nice course about 2 miles from our hotel. Puakea is the same course I played twice in 2019. When I called to check availability I was told the course was sold and upgraded since my last visit. (Check back for my impressions of the “new” course.) The person in the pro-shop whom I spoke with advised me to book online and save 20%.
